The dynamic movements of a traditional Peruvian “snaker dancer”, is featured in this vintage sterling silver brooch pin from Peru, circa 1950s.
The solidly cast brooch consists of 900 silver and is in the form of an Andean figure with outstretched arms holding a snake or serpent overhead.
It measures approximately 2&1/4 inches wide at its widest point by approximately 2&1/2 inches high, weighs 16.4 grams and impressed with the artist’s initial along with “Peru”, and “925”.
