A pair of deer leap over a fence in this enchanting vintage celluloid brooch with decorative silver overlay and rhinestone trim, circa 1920s/30s.
The round dome shaped pin consists of clear a celluloid plastic with dark ground, and features a pastoral scene of a buck and doe with overhanging tree and grassy field – along with a trim of clear faceted rhinestones inlaid around the frame.
It measures approximately 1&9/16 inches round, has a trombone clasp, and weighs 5.9 grams.
