The distinct curvature of ancient Mesoamerican art is depicted in this vintage sterling silver unsigned Margot de Taxco designed brooch in the form of a Linear Serpent, circa 1950s.
The finely made pin consists of sterling silver with decorative glyph design of swirls and beading and what appears to be an eye at the center.
It measures approximately 1&1/2 inches across, weighs 6.9 grams, and is marked “925”, “Taxco”, “Mexico” and “Sterling”.
