Crafted in the form of a Mesoamerican glyph, is this well made vintage Mexican silver brooch with large calcite or travertine stone to simulate jade, circa late 30s early 40s.
The Art Deco era brooch is completely hand wrought, and consists of a high fineness of silver with a wing style shape, bezel set with a high profile stone cab.
It measures approximately 2&1/2 inches across at its widest point by 1&1/2 inches high, has hand wrought fittings, weighs 17.9 grams, and is marked “Silver” and “Mexico”.
