So classic yet unique is this elegant vintage jade and faux pearl brooch featuring an apple green colored jadeite with simulated pearls, circa 1930s.
The expertly crafted brooch has an Asian style flair and consists of a hand carved jade oval with faint color mottling and pierced floral design, topped with a cluster of multi-sized creamy faux pearls and dotted with tiny seed pearl beads – all wired into place.
The brooch has a filigree backing with Russian gold plating, along with a metal closure that has a patent stamp of “Pat. 2066969". It measures approximately 1&7/8 inches in length and weighs 19.0 grams.
