A high domed glass with bright red rose design, makes up this antique Edwardian era horse bridle rosette brooch, converted sometime in the 1930s/40s.
The elegant vintage rosette consists of a high profile glass circle dome featuring a pink rose flower with a small bee or butterfly ready to alight.
It has a brass colored base and pin back, and measures approximately 1&5/8 inches round and weighs 38.9 grams.
