Vintage Egyptian Faience Scarab Pharaoh Cuff Bracelet
Large in size and chunky in shape is this Ancient Egyptian Revival silver toned cuff bracelet, with three bright blue faience type scarabs and pharaonic design.
The vintage bracelet is hand wrought from what appears to be a silver colored alloy metal or possibly a lower grade silver plate, with oxidation along the outer and inner surfaces.
It features three turquoise faience or glazed ceramic scarab beetles, along with the face of a Pharaoh in repeats.
The cuff measures approximately 1&1/2 inches wide and is about 5&3/4 inches end to end, with a 1&5/8 inch gap – to make up a total of approximately 7.3 inches around.
It weighs 48.9 grams and is marked in several places, with two assays in front (possibly one for Cairo) and on each end, but difficult to decipher.
