Vintage Mandarin Blue Silk Padded Jacket Peony of Shanghai Asian Coat XL

Ideal for all seasons is this well made vintage Mandarin style blue silk padded coat-jacket by Peony of Shanghai, circa 1990s.

The Chinese jacket features a cobalt blue silk brocade fabric with Wu Fu symbols, and is padded with a soft batting or filling.

It also has long sleeves, Mandarin collar with knotted frog button, decorative plastic buttons with snap button closure beneath (see close-up pic), four exterior patch pockets and two hidden side pockets, full lining within, and an interior chest pocket with buttoned closure.

*Please note – there appears to be an outline of a gum sticker on the left front sleeve as shown (see pic).

Otherwise, the jacket is in very good condition, and has an embroidered label for “Peony Brand”, Shanghai China” along with size labels for XXL 2 (although more like an XL by Western standards), and label with fabric care and content, which includes “100% Silk”.
