Vintage Burberry Scarf Pyramid of Giza Silk & Wool Ancient Egyptian Sphinx

The ancient Sphinx and Great Pyramid of Giza is featured on this vintage silk and wool scarf, with large sized Egyptian landscape print by Burberry (formerly Burberry’s), circa 2000.

The scenic mid-weight scarf consists of a silk and wool gauze, with scenic desert print of the Sphinx, pyramid of Khufu, rising sun, and camel caravan and battle in the foreground, in muted tones of sandy beige, brown, pale blue teal, and cantaloupe, along with a navy blue border.

It measures approximately 33 inches square, has hand rolled and stitched hems, and is signed “Burberry” and “London” in one corner, and has a single embroidered label for “35% Silk 65% Wool”, “Made in Italy” and fabric care symbols.
