A shiny cluster of gemstone "grapes" adorn this well crafted sterling silver and amethyst brooch from Mexico, circa 1940s.
The vintage pin has a naturalistic high dimensional design, and consists of solidly cast sterling silver in the form of a cluster of grapes on the vine – bezel set with genuine purple amethyst cabs with cascading puffy leaves.
It measures approximately 2&3/4 inches wide by 1&1/2 inches high at its highest point, weighs 25.3 grams, and marked "Silver" and "Mexico".
