A rich crimson red cinnabar trimmed with enameled flowers, makes up this vintage brass filigree Chinese Export dress clip, circa 1940s.
The rectangular clip consists of an antiqued brass, featuring a carved cinnabar figure, possibly one of the deities, surrounded by mountains and leafy branches and set in a filigree frame with turquoise enameled flower trim.
It measures approximately 1&3/8 by 1&7/8 inches in size, has a hinged clip in back as shown, weighs 20.6 grams, and is marked “China”.
