Vintage 80s Dress Floral Chiffon Peplum M

So perfect for day or evening is this figure flattering vintage cocktail dress with swagged chiffon layered peplum by David Rose, circa 1980s.

The swingy dress consists of a semi-sheer floral chiffon polyester fabric with Shasta style daisy print of cream, honey, and pale green colors over a deep navy or midnight blue ground – and has tiered asymmetrical layers draped in a swagged design around the body, along with a decorative fabric rosette at the hip as shown (see close-up). 

It also has a jeweled neckline, short flutter sleeves with inside shoulder pads, hidden side zipper, inside lining and flouncy skirt.

There is an embroidered label for “David Rose” with red rose motif, a size label for “10”, and a fabric care label which includes “100% Polyester” and “Made in U.S.A.”.

Remember – vintage sizes differ from contemporary sizes to please note measurements as follows and be sure to allow for ease.
