The daughters of Zeus dance about in this fine pair of 14K gold and shell cameo earrings featuring the Three Graces, also known as the Charites, circa early 20th century.
The large sized Neoclassical drop style earrings are oval in shape and consist of finely carved miniature shell cameos, bezel set in 14K yellow gold, with decorative wire and ribbon twist frame.
The cameo portion itself measures approximately ¾ of an inch wide by 1 inch in length, while the earring in its entirety hangs approximately 1&1/8 inches, from top of ear wire to base.
They also have kidney wire closures, weigh 6.0 combined, and are marked “14K” in back.
