Vintage Chinese Robe Golden Bee Embroidered Jacquard Plum Kimono S / M

A shiny rayon satin fabric with deep blue-grape or plum color and whimsical embroidered scene, makes up this elegant vintage Chinese robe by Golden Bee, circa late 1970s.

The wrapped kimono style robe consists of a medium weight rayon fabric with jacquard weave depicting chrysanthemum flowers – and has three-quarter length sleeves, tie belt, two patch pockets, and colorfully embroidered back featuring thatched roof houses, flowering trees, weeping willows, Chinese junk boats, and birds in flight.

The robe has an embroidered label for “Golden Bee”, “All Rayon” and “Made in China”, along with a “S” size label for small – although the robe is generously cut and should fit a regular ‘medium’ size as well. 

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
