Here is an interesting looking pair of vintage Mexican sterling silver earrings by former designer at Rancho Alegre, Miguel Garcia Martinez, circa 1950s.
The articulated earrings feature a pre-Columbian design with a modernist interpretation and have a curved shape with hand stamped details, and small bell or “cascabel” drops.
They have screw backs and hang approximately 1&1/4 inches, top to bottom, weigh 9.5 grams combined, and are marked “Miguel” along with “925”, “Sterling” and “Mexico”.
