Vintage Alain Chabason Skirt Suit Black Wool & Velvet 2-Piece Set S

So sleek in design and well tailored, is this vintage black wool and velvet ladies skirt suit by Alain Chabason of Paris, circa 1990s.

The elegant suit consists of a mid-weight black wool crepe with strong shoulders, decorative velvet trim, and large goldplated textured novelty buttons, with single snap button closure and decorative buttons on the cuff for the jacket. 

The pencil line skirt has a zippered closure, kick pleat, and full lining within.

There is an embroidered label for “Alain Chabason”, “Paris”, “Made in France”, along with a size label of  “38” inside of the skirt, and fabric care label which includes “100% Wool”.

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
