A bouquet of edelweiss flowers, which represent love, strength, and devotion, is featured on this antique Victorian vulcanite and porcelain pendant, circa 1870s.
The vintage "memento mori" pendant consists of a pressed oval shaped vulcanite or gutta-percha frame, inset with a floral hand painted porcelain centerpiece.
It measures approximately 1&1/2 inches wide at its widest point by 2&3/16 inches, has a metal bail, and weighs 12.9 grams.
