So vivid and mod is this vintage envelope style handbag or clutch purse, with colorful modernist pattern by Coblentz for Saks Fifth Avenue, circa 1950s/60s.
The mid-century bag consists of a multicolor fabric with free form design in colors of red, pink, turquoise, lime green, yellow, orange, plum, and purple.
It measures approximately 6 by 9&1/2 inches, has a foldover closure with snap clasp, double handle straps which can be tucked inside if desired, and yellow satin lining with two side pockets and gold stamped, “Saks Fifth Avenue Bag By Coblentz”.
